St. Patrick Day Parade

I took the boys to Old Sacramento for the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. We found a good spot to sit at the beginning of the parade route. The boys enjoyed waving to everyone and getting the candy and beads they were throwing out. I packed them a lunch which kept them sitting until the parade was over. We enjoyed the beautiful sunny day together. Their favorite things in the parade were the green dancing guy, the horses, the army men and of course, the fire trucks.

Devon and Dillon in front of the pony express statue.

Dillon waving to the bag pipe players.

The green dancing guy. Devon thinks he's the funniest.

I loved the young boy's playing the drums.

The boys loved the 'Army Truck' the best.

Last but not least. The fire trucks ended the parade with their lights on and sirens going.

The boys watching a train move about the railyard.
